Our Pricing

SUMMARY

Here at CityRoots, we understand that pricing is a huge part of the buying decision, we’d love to be open and transparent about our pricing structure. In our industry it is far too common to hide this information, but we believe that by making our job costs, business expenses, and prices transparent we will earn the trust of our clients, team members, and community. We want to give our clients all the information required to determine if we are the right fit for their landscaping project or maintenance.

How Much Does Lawn Mowing Cost?

Our goal is to make our pricing simple, and affordable. We have standardized prices used for lawn mowing, based upon time. There are many variables that may increase or decrease the price but these are the general guidelines we use. Our prices are per mowing service on a weekly or bi-weekly (every other week) schedule. We require all clients with in-ground irrigation systems to be on a weekly schedule from March until end of June.  During the Summer you may switch to a biweekly schedule. Only during the winter season, we offer monthly scheduled service.

Variables That Affect Price:

Shape: A rectangular, open lawn with little obstacles or landscaping takes considerably less time to service.

Access: Small-gated backyards require us to use appropriate sized equipment in order to fit, which results in increased time required to service.

Clippings Disposal: We offer same day debris haul away, which includes leaves we remove from your property, and do not leave bags on your curb for the city to pick up. This is a standard for us, and is automatically built into the price. Mulching grass clippings provides a natural fertilizer for your lawn, however if you wish to have the grass clippings bagged, additional fees will apply.

How Much Does Landscape Construction Cost?

Some common questions we receive when quoting Mulch, Gravel, Plantings, Pavers, Stone, or Turf is “How much does it cost?”

There are many variables that will affect price, such as:, access to job site, backfill material, straight or curved bed design

Grade/slope/elevation – Ideally, results are going to be flat. Retaining walls or other measures may be needed if the project is to be positioned on an uneven terrain.

Material type –  There is a wide variety of color, shapes, lengths of different materials required for any unique landscape project. Some sods or gravels cost nearly double of their alternative options. Here at CityRoots, we provide our clients with only the best, high-quality materials the industry has to offer.

Straight or curved designs – A complicated design adds labor when installing  paver patios, walkways, retaining walls, and flower bed edging. The more complex the design, more time required to complete installation with  high-quality results.

Ease of access to site – If the entire project is in the backyard of a gated area, this will increase the time it takes to prep the site, and will limit the type of machinery to be used.
